Quick Change Artists perform at London Charity Event in Park Lane - Jan 10
International Quick Change Artists – Keelan Leyser and Charlotte Marie, have generously given their time to support the London based charity – London Taxidrivers' Fund for Underprivileged Children. On 31st January 2010, The Madhatter’s Tea Party was held in the Grovenors Hotel, Park Lane for around 800 underprivileged children and their families. The entertainment went on through the afternoon and included a whole range of well known faces including the Cheeky Girls, Diversity, The Heavy Weight Boxing Champion, among many more dance and variety acts including the Quick Change Artists.
The Quick Change Artists performed their fast paced colourful dress change act to the packed ballroom, which went down a storm.
Charlotte said “ We were really pleased we were able to show these children something completely different that they had never seen before. We could see their mouths drop as the costumes instantaneously changed colour and style!”
The London Taxidrivers' Fund for Underprivileged Children is a fabulous charity and many of the taxi drivers do a lot of very good work for these children.
This one was of the very few performances the UK based Quick Change Artists have performed at as the majority of their costume change shows are International
